About the Egyptian Cardiothoracic Anesthesia Society 

ECTAS aims to be a forum in Egypt and the Middle East for international scientific discussions and exchange of ideas in the field of cardiothoracic and vascular anesthesia and related topics, and to promote education and development in this field.

The society aims as well to promote scientific excellence in our specialty through awarding scholarships; assist in scientific investigations; enabling educational visits to centers in Egypt and other countries; and to publish selected abstracts of papers presented at ECTAS meetings in the society’s professional Journal, EJCTA.
